Guilt keeps us from knowing and living our purpose for life. Since we feel like we can’t know or hear from God due to our guilt, we give up on our true purpose for life.  We settle for way less.  In the message, learn how Jesus can give freedom from guilt and help you live life’s purpose by what He did on the cross.

How We Deal with Guilt

We try to BURY our guilt. Genesis 3:8
We BLAME others for our guilt. Genesis 3:11b-13
We PUNISH ourselves over our guilt. Psalm 38:4

What Jesus Wants us to do with our Guilt

ADMIT my guilt. 1 John 1:8
ACCEPT responsibility for my guilt. Psalm 51:3
ASK for forgiveness. 1 John 1:9

How Jesus Forgives when We Ask

He forgives FREELY, INSTANTLY, COMPLETELY and REPEATEDLY. 1 John 1:9
