WORSHIP Yahweh, the gracious, compassionate God
Exodus 34:6-9 “6 The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out,“Yahweh!* The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy(grace)!…8 Moses immediately threw himself to the ground and worshiped.”
Don’t take Yahweh’s compassion & grace for GRANTED
Deuteronomy 4:25-31 “30 “In the distant future, when you are suffering all these things, you will finally return to the Lord your God and listen to what he tells you. 31 For the Lord your God is a MERCIFUL (compassionate) God; he will not abandon you or destroy you or forget the solemn covenant he made with your ancestors.”
Turn to God quickly when you FAIL
See JESUS as the perfect picture of compassion & grace
Matthew 9:35-38 “35 Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had COMPASSION on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 He said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.’”
Allow Jesus’ compassion to move you to ACT
Worship Yahweh and accept His compassion and grace in Jesus.
