Place FAITH in Jesus & love others with HIS LOVE
1 John 4:15-19 “…17 And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world. 18 Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, & this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. 19 We love each other* because he loved us first.”
Lose ARGUMENTS; seek RECONCILIATION
Proverbs 18:19 “An offended friend is harder to win back than a fortified city. Arguments separate friends like a gate locked with bars.”
Strive to be a GENUINE friend, even in ADVERSITY
Proverbs 17:17 “A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.” Proverbs 18:24 “There are ‘friends’ who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.
Show the GRACE that Jesus shows you to OTHERS
Acts 15:36-41, Colossians 4:10-11,
2 Timothy 4:9-11 “…10 Demas has deserted me because he loves the things of this life and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus has gone to Dalmatia. 11 Only Luke is with me. Bring Mark with you when you come, for he will be helpful to me in my ministry.” Proverbs 17:9 “Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.”
