Exodus 34:6-9; Deuteronomy 9:1-6; Romans 2:1-4

Worship Yahweh: He is loving, FORGIVING & JUST

Exodus 34:6-9 “6 The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out,““Yahweh! The Lord!… 7 I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations.* I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But I do not excuse the guilty. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren; the entire family is affected— even children in the third and fourth generations.”

Rely on God’s grace, not our GOOD DEEDS

Deuteronomy 9:1-6 “1 Listen, O Israel! Today you are about to cross the Jordan River to take over the land belonging to nations much greater and more powerful than you. They live in cities with walls that reach to the sky!… 6 You must recognize that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land because you are good, for you are not—you are a stubborn people.”

Adjust your perspective on JUDGMENT & GRACE

Romans 2:1-4 “…3 Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? 4 Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?”
