John 3:16-17; Ephesians 2:8-10
– I’m trusting in Jesus’ death and resurrection that took away the punishment for the wrong I have committed, which makes me in right standing with God.
– I’m not trusting in my own ability to DO good deeds to somehow erase the poor choices I’ve made.
How do I place my faith in Christ?
CHANGE YOUR MIND – about living in your way and live in the way God has laid out in Jesus.
BELIEVE – that Jesus is God’s Son who died to take away the punishment of sin and rose from the dead to offer new life to those who place their faith in Him.

Congratulations! The Bible teaches that when we place our faith in Christ, we are immediately made right with God. Jesus’ perfect life covers our broken life and we are permanently restored and adopted into God’s family. It means that we no longer face separation from God’s goodness because of our failures, but we now are guaranteed eternal life with God here on earth and in heaven.
